No. You and your requirements are unique, as is every one of our valued clients, so a minimum contract just doesn’t make sense. Your home health services are based on your needs, not our bottom line.
No, in fact, sometimes the in home care you need can be completed in less than one hour.
We like to keep it simple for you, so we only charge one rate for days, nights and weekends. The only exceptions are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas which are billed at one and a half times the normal rate.
Every Harmony Home Health in home caregiver is a direct employee. That means we pay all applicable payroll taxes and cover their Workers’ compensation insurance, minimizing your liability. Be sure to ask any home health agency you call if their caregivers are direct employees. Given our founder’s personal history with in home caregivers, and our family-oriented approach, we only employ in home caregivers we’d feel comfortable hiring to help our own mothers and grandmothers. The ideal caregiver has both competence and compassion. Our rigorous screening process starts with a Wonderlic Performance Assessment so we get a solid understanding of their knowledge, skills, and abilities. We also perform a comprehensive criminal background check, motor vehicle history check, reference checks and provide extensive training.
Continuity of care is important so we strive to make sure you’re matched with someone you trust and are comfortable with. We carefully select your in home caregiver from our large pool of compassionate, highly trained professionals based on personality, skill set, geography and availability.
It’s rare, but it you’re not extremely satisfied with your in home caregiver for any reason, all you have to do is call and we’ll make the necessary changes.
