Carole Ware-McKenzie

Director of Care Services

Carole Ware-McKenzie, Director of Operations for Harmony Home Health CareCarole’s involvement with Harmony Home Health is based on an amazing true story. Carole met Jonathan shortly after he decided to open Harmony Home Health and, in 2004, became the first employee of the company. Carole believed in Jonathan and saw his unique vision to build a senior home health care company that advocates for the total well being of their clients and family caregivers. In fact, Carole was so committed to this vision that she forfeited her salary for the first few months while the company was getting started.

As the Director of Care Services, Carole is responsible for providing direct support to our clients and caregivers. Carole is one of the most giving people you’ll ever meet and works hard to ensure every client and caregiver is cared for. One of the most critical components of successful elder care is matching the right in home caregiver and client and Carole makes sure that match is perfect.

Carole is a family caregiver herself and understands the difficult transition of aging, caring for elderly parents and its impact upon the clients’ and their families. Because of her unique perspective, Carole knows the importance of caring for the physical, emotional, and environmental well being of all those in need.

Carole has a BA in Recreation and Psychology from Western Kentucky University. She has worked with a variety of populations, including Mental Health, Special Needs, Foster Care and Juvenile Justice. Throughout her career, Carole has advocated for the help and care of other people. Additionally, Carole has had the opportunity to exercise her inner entrepreneur by founding and overseeing many new programs and services for the populations she served.

Carole has extensive training in providing direct in home care and is also a certified senior fall prevention trainer. Carole’s training goes beyond senior home health care, as she is also an expert in team building and experiential therapy. She has been trained in a variety of treatment techniques such as R.O.P.E.S., Project Adventure and The Journey. She helps us have a stronger team every single day.
